It’s Official Liverpool Supporters Club Myanmar, also known as Myanmar Reds.

Somos el Club Oficial de seguidores del Liverpool de Myanmar (Birmania), también conocidos como los Myanmar Reds.

 

 

Tell us about your OLSC….how did you get started? / Cuéntanos sobre su OLSC … ¿Cómo comenzó todo?

It’s all started in 2012, the die-hard Liverpool supporters met up and gathered together and decided to apply for official status.

Todo empezó en 2012, los fieles seguidores del Liverpool se reunieron y fueron sumándose hasta que decidieron solicitar el estatus oficial.

 

How many members do you have now, and where do you meet? / ¿Cuántos miembros sois ahora y dónde os reunís?

We have more than three hundred sixty members, the numbers increases rapidly. There are also many other non member supporters. We usually meet up at Shel’s Bistro or Rosie’s Sports bar,  where we watch LFC games in Yangon.

 

Somos más de 360 miembros y la cantidad crece rápidamente. También hay muchos otros simpatizantes que no son miembros. Solemos vernos en Shel’s Bistro o Rosie´s Sports Bar, donde vemos los partidos del LFC en Rangún.

 

Apart from watching the Mighty Reds, do you do anything else together? / Además de ver a los Mighty Reds, ¿hacéis algo más juntos?

We always donate blood every four months. So at the end of October we will be donating for the 18th time. We also do other charitable activities, visiting orphanage, donating food or money if there is natural disaster and emergency situations. We also play football games every Saturdays. The OLSC Myanmar team is taking part in the Yangon Amateur Premier League Football Competition at the moment.

Donamos sangre regularmente, cada cuatro meses. Así que a finales de octubre vamos a donar por decimoctava vez. También hacemos otras actividades benéficas, visitando el orfanato, donando comida o dinero si hay desastres naturales y situaciones de emergencia. Asimismo, jugamos partidos de fútbol todos los sábados. El equipo de OLSC Myanmar está participando en el torneo de fútbol amateur de Rangún en este momento.

 

What has been a highlight for your OLSC?

/ ¿Qué ha sido lo más destacado hasta ahora en vuestra OLSC?

It has to be the Champion League Final night against Real Madrid on 26th May 2018. Despite the heartache of 700 fans gathered to support the team at 2am in the morning! The roaring sound, the cheer and the chants throughout the night, the atmosphere was amazing. That was also the first time which the most number of Liverpool supporters gathered at one place in Myanmar.

Seguramente la madrugada de la final de la Champions League contra el Real Madrid el 26 de mayo de 2018. A pesar de la enorme decepción, ¡700 fans se reunieron para apoyar al equipo a las 2:00 de la mañana! El sonido los gritos de apoyo, la alegría y los cánticos durante toda la noche, el ambiente fue increíble. Esa fue también la primera vez que se juntaron tal cantidad de aficionados del Liverpool en un lugar de Myanmar.

 

 

Anything else interesting we should know about your Supporters Club? / ¿Hay algo interesante que debiéramos saber sobre vuestro club de seguidores? 

 

We are turning 6 in February 2019 – yay!

A question from OLSC Kansas City: if you could repeat any Liverpool game in your home city, which would it be? / Una pregunta que nos hacen los OLSC Kansas City: di pudieras volver a ver cualquier partido del Liverpool en tu ciudad, ¿cuál sería?

Of course, 2005 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul against AC Milan, without a doubt.

Por supuesto, la final de la UEFA Champions League en 2005 en Estambul contra AC Milan, sin duda.

 

Finally….how are you feeling about the new season? Y para acabar, ¿cuáles son tus sensaciones cara a la nueva temporada?

We are feeling very positive, we think we are at the edge of winning something special, the squad looks stronger than ever, the manager is the dream guy to get the job done, you couldn’t ask for more. Last of all we, supporters and the club, are One big family and together we can be winners, champions. You name it. This means more, more than a team, more than a club, more than anything you could imagine, it’s Liverpool FC. Come on REDS! YNWA.

Somos muy optimistas, creemos que estamos muy cerca de ganar algo especial, el equipo se ve más fuerte que nunca, tenemos el entrenador ideal para realizar ese sueño, no se puede pedir más. Por último, nosotros, los seguidores y el Club, somos una gran familia y juntos podemos ganar la Champions. Lo que sea. Esto significa más, más que un equipo, más que un club, más que cualquier cosa que puedas imaginar, es el Liverpool FC. ¡Vamos, Reds! YNWA.
