We are ALSIN, which stands for Association of Liverpool Supporters in the Netherlands

Nos llamamos ALSIN, que significa: Asociación de aficionados del Liverpool en los Países Bajos.

Tell us about your OLSC….how did you get started? / Cuéntanos sobre su OLSC … ¿Cómo comenzó todo?

ALSIN was founded in 2002 by Wander Koldewijn and Herman Post jr. It was officially recognised as OLSC by Liverpool FC in September 2002.

ALSIN fue fundada en 2002 por Wander Koldewijn y Herman Post jr. Y oficialmente reconocida como OLSC por el Liverpool FC en septiembre de 2002.

 How many members do you have now, and where do you meet? / ¿Cuántos miembros sois ahora y dónde os reunís?

We currently have app. 300 members from across the country and we organise several meetings for them each PL season. Our meetings are in different pubs across the country. We travel around to make sure that members from everywhere can attent. Our meetings include watching a LFC game, enjoy drinks and snack and of course sharing our Liverpool passion with other members.

Actualmente somos aproximadamente 300 miembros a lo largo de todo el país y organizamos varias reuniones conjuntas cada temporada de PL. Nuestras reuniones se celebran en diferentes pubs de todo el país. Viajamos para asegurarnos de que los miembros de todas partes puedan asistir. Nuestras reuniones incluyen ver un partido del LFC, disfrutar de bebidas y cosas para picar y, por supuesto, compartir nuestra pasión en el Liverpool con otros miembros.

Apart from watching the Mighty Reds, do you do anything else together? / Además de ver a los Mighty Reds, ¿hacéis algo más juntos?

Next to these quarterly meetings, we also organise our own ALSINDAY (ALSINDAG) every 2 years. On this day we celebrate our love for Liverpool FC with an International 5-a-side tournament, LFC clinics (in cooperation with the LFC foundation), a BBQ and party night. Every now and then we also have an LFC legend around of which we are of course extremely proud.

Sumado a estas reuniones trimestrales, también organizamos nuestro propio ALSINDAY (ALSINDAG) cada 2 años. Ese día celebramos nuestro amor por el Liverpool FC con un torneo internacional de fútbol sala, seminarios sobre el Liverpool (en cooperación con la fundación LFC), una barbacoa y una noche de fiesta. De vez en cuando también traemos a una leyenda del LFC de lo cual, por supuesto, estamos muy orgullosos.

What has been a highlight for your OLSC? / ¿Qué ha sido lo más destacado hasta ahora en vuestra OLSC?

Other ‘smaller things’ that we do for our members: We send out a quarterly newsletter, have a Facebook and Twitter account and keep our website up-to-date at all times. We also host our own ‘player of the year’ and ‘fantasy football (toto in Dutch) competitions.

Otras “cosas más pequeñas” que hacemos para nuestros miembros: enviamos un boletín trimestral, tenemos una cuenta de Facebook y Twitter y mantenemos nuestro sitio web actualizado en todo momento. También organizamos nuestras propias competiciones de ‘jugador del año’ y una ‘fútbol fantasy” (Toto en holandés).

How are you feeling about the new season? / ¿Cuál es tu impresión cara a la nueva temporada?

All of us are looking forward to the new season and hope that we can finally make another dream come true and win some big prizes, of course including the Premier League title!

Todos esperamos la nueva temporada con la esperanza de que finalmente podamos hacer realidad otro sueño y ganar grandes trofeos, ¡incluida la Premier League!

Last, but not least, we’d like to know which branches are interested to attend our International 5-a-side tournament in 2020?! And is there any interest to arrange a night out in Liverpool each season (once every season), organised by a different branch each time?
