A los 13 años vi un partido en la televisión, el Liverpool vs Saint Etienne y me enamoré de las camisetas rojas (¡en blanco y negro)! y, sobre todo, del ambiente de Anfield.

When I was 13, I saw a match on the TV, Liverpool vs Saint Etienne and I fell in love with the red shirts (in black and white!) and, above all, the atmosphere in Anfield.

Me gustaba Keegan, pero Gerrard es “el jugador” del Liverpool, y algo también tengo con Carra.

Siempre admiré a Iribar (portero del Athletic de Bilbao) y a Johan Cruyff

I liked Keegan, but Gerrard is “the player” of Liverpool, and I also have a thing for Carra.

Para mí, después de ocho años yendo al pub, ahora mismo es una especie de familia, de “cuadrilla” de amigos que decimos en el País Vasco. Ha trascendido del fútbol. Disfruto hablando/polemizando de fútbol, practicando inglés, me río mucho en Madrid Reds.

For me, after 8 years going to the pub, it’s now a kind of family, a “cuadrilla” of friends as we say in the Basque Country. It’s gone beyond football. I like talking / arguing about football, practising English, l laugh at lot with the Madrid Reds.
