Me llamo Pablo Redero, pero casi todo el mundo me llama directamente Redero o “Rede”.

My name is Pablo Redero but most of the people just call me Redero or “Rede”.

 

¿De dónde eres? / Where are you from?

Soy de Salamanca, el año pasado viví en Madrid y actualmente trabajo en Göttingen (Alemania).

I am from Salamanca, last year I lived in Madrid and I am currently working in Göttingen (Germany). 

 

 ¿Por qué eres del Liverpool? / Why are you a Liverpool fan?

Conocí al Spanish Liverpool de Rafa Benítez a principios de 2007, poco después de que empezara a seguir la actualidad futbolística con cierta continuidad. Era todo un equipazo y con mucho carisma. Ese equipo fue cambiando poco a poco pero fueron Anfield, la afición “red”, el You’ll Never Walk Alone y la historia del club los que hicieron que el Liverpool se ganase mi eterna admiración.

I knew about Rafa Benitez’s Spanish Liverpool early in 2007, shortly after I began keeping up to date about football news. It was such a good team and also very charismatic. This squad slowly changed but Anfield, the red fans, the You’ll never Walk Alone and the club’s history were the ones who made Liverpool earn my eternal admiration.

 

Jugador favorito del Liverpool (u otro team) / Favourite Liverpool (or other team) player?

Mi jugador favorito siempre ha sido Iker Casillas, toda una leyenda de este deporte y al que estoy seguro que la afición “red” dará un gran recibimiento cuando visite Anfield con el Porto.

Del Liverpool me encantaba Xabi Alonso, era la elegancia y la precisión personificadas pero también era todo un luchador sin balón.

My favourite player has always been Iker Casillas, a true legend of this sport and I am sure the red fans will give him a great welcome when he visits Anfield with Porto.

One from Liverpool that I loved was Xabi Alonso, he was elegance and accuracy personified but also a great fighter when he didn’t have the ball.

Because Triskel’s atmosphere is a true healthy madness, especially during Champions League matches. Football without fans is nothing!
