¿De dónde eres? / Where are you from?

Soy de Barnsley, South Yorkshire, pero he vivido en muchos sitios diferentes del Reino Unido, incluyendo Bournemouth, Chippenham, Darlington, Preston, Carlisle y Milton Keynes … Me mudé a Madrid en enero de 2015 después de vivir en Indonesia durante dos años y en Nueva Zelanda durante 6 meses.

I am originally from Barnsley, South Yorkshire although I have lived in many different places around the UK including Bournemouth, Chippenham, Darlington, Preston, Carlisle and Milton Keynes… I moved to Madrid in January 2015 after living in Indonesia for two years and New Zealand for 6 months.

 

 ¿Por qué eres del Liverpool? / Why are you a Liverpool fan?

Toda mi familia es de Barnsley, así que más bien uno se puede preguntar ¿cómo no va a apoyarles? Mi padre era hincha del Leeds United en su juventud, pero en verdad no le gustaba mucho el deporte, así que descubrí el fútbol en el patio de recreo en la escuela con mis amigos y en muchos lugares diferentes en los que vivi cuando era un niño. He seguido al Liverpool desde que tengo memoria, y crecí viendo a jugadores como Barnes y Rush a finales de los 80 antes de que leyendas como Fowler aparecieran en los 90.

All my family are from Barnsley, so you might ask why don´t I support them? My dad was a Leeds United fan in his youth but doesn´t really like sport so I discovered football on the playground and at school with my friends in the many different places I lived in as a child. I´ve supported Liverpool since I can remember, and I grew up watching players such as Barnes and Rush in the late 80´s before legends such as Fowler came through in the 90´s.

Mi jugador favorito del Liverpool siempre ha sido Robbie Fowler, es decir: DIOS, me encantó ver todos los goles que marcaba.

My favourite Liverpool player has always been Robbie Fowler aka GOD, I loved watching all the goals he used to score

 

¿Por qué te gusta venir a Triskel? ¿Por qué Madrid Reds? / Why do you like to come to Triskel? Why the Madrid Reds?

Me encanta ir a Triskel porque tiene un ambiente increíble durante los partidos, la gente es amable y el personal del bar es de primera clase. Tiene un auténtico ambiente familiar. Me uní a los MadridReds por mi amor al Liverpool y, gracias a eso, ¡he podido compartir esos momentos especiales que nos da el fútbol con otros seguidores y tomar algunas pintas de Guinness!

I love going to Triskel because it´s got an amazing atmosphere for games, the people are friendly, and the bar staff are class. It has a real local family feel to the place. I joined the MadridReds because of my love for Liverpool and so I could share those special footballing moments with fellow supporters while having a few pints of Guinness!
