 How many members do you have now, and where do you meet? / ¿Cuántos miembros sois ahora y dónde os reunís?

We are about 50 members (35 with fee paid this season) and we meet at the Philharmonic Pub in the heart of Barcelona (C \ Mallorca 204).

Somos unos 50 miembros (35 con cuota pagada esta temporada) y nos reunimos en el Pub Philharmonic en el corazón de Barcelona (C\ Mallorca 204).

Apart from watching the Mighty Reds, do you do anything else together? / Además de ver a los Mighty Reds, ¿hacéis algo más juntos?

We have great camaraderie and friendship among all our members. We are a group of friends and it is our strong point. Apart from having some sort of “trobada” (get together) with lunch or dinner in our Pub without a match in between, we are left to go out drinking, go to football in Barcelona, ​​play football … The Liverpool Way is the best of being a RED

Tenemos una gran camaradería y amistad entre todos nuestros miembros. Somos un grupo de amigos y es nuestro punto fuerte. A parte de realizar alguna “trobada” con comida o cena en nuestro Pub sin partido de por medio, entre nosotros quedamos para salir de copas, ir al fútbol en Barcelona, jugar a fútbol sala … El Liverpool Way es lo mejor de ser un RED.

What has been a highlight for your OLSC? / ¿Qué ha sido lo más destacado hasta ahora en vuestra OLSC?

Without a doubt, creating a great atmosphere like a Mini Anfield in our pub, the Philharmonic. Besides, we do not usually fail when our LFC visits Spain in Seville, Madrid, Villarreal and, of course, Barcelona. In the last trip to Anfield against Fulham on November 11, we enjoyed the company of Antonio Núñez, a former RED player in 2005. It was quite an experience that he shared his anecdotes about his stay in LFC and especially the mythical final of Istanbul with the 0-3 comeback against AC Milan. For the rest of that final, he told us that Rafa Benitez transmitted much calm and tranquility, correcting some position or failure. There was no “magical” talk as attributed by the urban legend.

Sin duda, crear un gran ambiente a modo de Mini Anfield en nuestro Pub Philharmonic (ese Pol … ). A parte, no solemos fallar cuando nuestro LFC visita España en Sevilla, Madrid, Villarreal y, por supuesto, Barcelona. En el último desplazamiento a Anfield contra el Fulham el pasado 11 de noviembre disfrutamos de la compañía de Antonio Núñez, ex jugador RED en el 2005. Fue toda una experiencia que compartiese sus anécdotas sobre su estancia en LFC y especialmente de la mítica final de Estambul con la remontada del 0-3 al AC Milan. En el descanso de esa final nos comentó que Rafa Benítez transmitió mucha calma y tranquilidad, corrigiendo alguna posición o fallo. No hubo una charla “mágica” como atribuye la leyenda urbana.

Anything else interesting we should know about your Supporters Club? / ¿Hay algo interesante que debiéramos saber sobre vuestro club de seguidores? 

This year we have made a scarf to give as a gift to our members. We usually go to Anfield between 4 and 6 games per season depending on the tickets that the Club provides us with as an OLSC.

Este año hemos sacado una bufanda con una pequeña tirada que entregamos como obsequio a nuestros miembros. Solemos a ir a Anfield entre 4 y 6 partidos por temporada en función de las entradas que nos facilita el Club como OLSC.

What is your impression of the season so far? / ¿Cuál es tu impresión cara a la temporada hasta ahora? 

This year we have a squad with enough depth to fight on all fronts and we can compete for the Premier until the end with City and Chelsea. Undoubtedly Jürgen Klopp has managed to improve the quality and competitiveness of the squad to be a TOP team, respected and feared in Europe.

Este año tenemos una plantilla con suficiente fondo de armario para luchar en todos los frentes y podemos competir por la Premier hasta el final con City y Chelsea. Sin duda Jürgen Klopp ha conseguido mejorar la calidad y competitividad de la plantilla hasta ser un equipo TOP respetado y temido en Europa.

 

We want to take this opportunity to greet all our members of BCN Reds, as well as all our brothers in Madrid with whom we have a deep relationship of friendship and mutual admiration. On a personal level, Lover and Pax from Madrid Reds are considered friends and we keep in touch daily with WhatsApp in a forum that I call “Anfield Bridge”, named after the air shuttle between our cities.

Queremos aprovechar la ocasión para saludar a todos nuestros miembros de BCN Reds, así como a todos nuestros hermanos de Madrid con los que nos une una profunda relación de amistad y admiración mutua. A nivel personal, Lover y Pax de Madrid Reds los considero amigos y mantenemos el contacto a diario por WhatsApp en un foro que denominamos “Anfield Bridge”  como el puente aéreo que une nuestras ciudades.
