Mi nombre Jorge Olmos, aunque mis amigos me conocen por George y es que mi madre amante de los Beatles nunca se atrevió a ponerme George por Harrison.

My name Jorge Olmos, although my friends know me by George and that’s because my Mum, lover of the Beatles, never dared to call me George because of Harrison.

¿Por qué eres del Liverpool? / Why are you a Liverpool fan?

Pues por Robbie Fowler que lo veía cuando aquí en España Canal Plus retransmitían partidos de Premier League, pero tiene mucho que ver que hace muchos años un diario deportivo llevo a escoger dos camisetas inglesas, una la del United y otra la del Liverpool, entendéis cual escogí ¿no? Y además porque me encanta la cultura beatle, la ciudad y las personas que son de Liverpool.

Well for Robbie Fowler,  I saw him when Canal Plus would show Premier League games in Spain, but it has a lot to do with the fact that many years ago a sports newspaper asked me to choose between two English shirts, one from United and one from Liverpool: you understand which I chose, right? And also because I love the Beatle culture, the city and the people who are from Liverpool.

My favourite player can’t be anyone other than Robbie Fowler and the day that I met him, the circle was closed.

 

¿Por qué te gusta venir a Triskel? ¿Por qué Madrid Reds? / Why do you like to come to Triskel? Why the Madrid Reds?

Pues me gusta ir al Triskel (cuando puedo) porque es volver a The Cavern y por el ambiente que generan los Madrid Reds y por los amigos que tengo allí.

¿Y Madrid Reds? por Lover y Juan Liverpool que sin ellos no conocería esa gran familia que tanto me ha dado en tan poco. Es una pasada todo lo que trabajan por los seguidores Reds del Liverpool en Madrid. Es algo más que un Branch.

Well I like to go to the Triskel (when I can) because it’s like going back to The Cavern, and because of the atmosphere created by the Madrid Reds and the friends I have there.

 And Madrid Reds? Because of Lover (Amador) and Juan Liverpool, without them I would not know this great family that has given me so much in so little time. It’s incredible how much they all work for the Liverpool fans here in Madrid. It is more than just a Branch.
