Official Liverpool Supporters Club Hungary, everyone knows us as OLSCH.

Tell us about your OLSC….how did you get started? / Cuéntanos sobre su OLSC … ¿Cómo comenzó todo?

We always had about 20 people who watched Liverpool’s matches together. We sent a letter to Liverpool FC back in 2005 to became an Official Liverpool Supporters Club. After 3 years of sending messages finally on the 3rd of June 2008 we become an OLSC.

Siempre hubo alrededor de 20 personas que veían los partidos del Liverpool juntos. Enviamos una carta al Liverpool FC en 2005 para convertirnos en un club oficial de seguidores de Liverpool. Después de 3 años enviando mensajes, finalmente el 3 de junio de 2008 nos convertimos en un OLSC.

 

How many members do you have now, and where do you meet? / ¿Cuántos miembros sois ahora y dónde os reunís?

Since that date due to the dedicated work, and the good performance of LFC the number of club members has been rising. Now we have 210 members and we are still growing.

We meet and watch matches at Kisrablo Pub in Budapest, which has become our HQ in the past few month. Warmly welcome and happy to see there every Liverpool fan.

Desde esa fecha, gracias a nuestros esfuerzos y a las buenas temporadas del LFC, el número de miembros del Club no ha dejado de aumentar. Ahora somos 210 miembros y seguimos creciendo.

Nos reunimos y vemos los partidos en el Kisrablo pub en Budapest, que se ha convertido en nuestro cuartel general en los últimos meses. Allí damos una feliz y cálida bienvenida a cualquier fan del Liverpool.

 

Apart from watching the Mighty Reds, do you do anything else together? / Además de ver a los Mighty Reds, ¿hacéis algo más juntos?

Of course our members have the opportunity to see our beloved club’s players at Anfield, we are always travelling together.

We are watching every games together at our HQ, Kisrablo Pub.

And we have traditional events here in Hungary, organize Family days every year, OLSCH CUP five-a-side tournaments, Club Days and our five-a-side team takes part in other supporters’ tournaments. We have finished in the top 3 in the last few tournaments. We always held Regional Meetings with neighboring countries, this year we were celebrating our 10 years anniversary with them, more than hundred people from 5 different countries.

Por supuesto, nuestros miembros tienen la oportunidad de ver a nuestros queridos jugadores en Anfield, siempre viajamos juntos.

Vemos todos los partidos reunidos en nuestro cuartel general del Kisrablo pub.

Y tenemos eventos tradicionales, como organizar días para la familia cada año, La Copa OLSCH de futbito (fútbol 5), días del Club y nuestro equipo de futbito participa también en los torneos de otros clubs de seguidores. Hemos terminado entre los tres primeros en los últimos campeonatos. Siempre celebramos reuniones regionales con países vecinos, de hecho, este año celebramos nuestro décimo aniversario con ellos, más de cien personas de cinco países diferentes.

 

What has been a highlight for your OLSC?

/ ¿Qué ha sido lo más destacado hasta ahora en vuestra OLSC?

The atmosphere in our events is always good, and friendly, thanks to a lot of active members. We have built a good friendship with the neighboring countries’ OLSCs, like Slovenian, Romanian, Austrian, Serbian etc.

 

El ambiente en cada uno de nuestros eventos es siempre bueno y amistoso, gracias a un montón de miembros muy activos. Hemos hecho una buena amistad con los OLSC de los países vecinos, como los eslovenos, rumanos, austríacos, serbios, etc.

 

Anything else interesting we should know about your Supporters Club? / ¿Hay algo interesante que debiéramos saber sobre vuestro club de seguidores? 

Our five-a-side team has played at Anfield.

We have our own couple, two of our members meet each other on one of our family day for the first time, and since then they live happy married life with each other and their two babies.

Back in July we had the opportunity to sit down and have an interview with Liverpool FC’s U18, U23 players, coaches, and Academy members at Telki training base. And one of our member’s photos had featured on Liverpoolfc.com.

Nuestro equipo de fútbol 5 ha jugado en Anfield.

Tenemos incluso nuestra propia pareja, dos de nuestros miembros se conocieron aquí, en uno de nuestros días de la familia, y desde entonces viven felizmente casados y tienen do bebés.

El julio pasado tuvimos la oportunidad de reunirnos y tener una entrevista con los jugadores del Liverpool U18, también con jugadores de los U23, entrenadores y miembros de la Academia de Liverpool FC durante su preparación en Telki (cerca de Budapest). Y una de nuestras fotos apareció en la web Liverpoolfc.com

     

A question from OLSC Kansas City: if you could repeat any Liverpool game in your home city, which would it be? / Una pregunta que nos hacen los OLSC Kansas City: di pudieras volver a ver cualquier partido del Liverpool en tu ciudad, ¿cuál sería?

It would be a very difficult chose, I think every Cup Final would be a great choice, and had a many many emotional games in the past to see again. But personally I would say the Champions League Final of 2005.

Es una elección muy difícil, creo que cualquier final de Copa sería fantástica, hay muchos partidos, pero muchos y muy emocionantes en nuestra historia entre los que elegir. Pero, personalmente, yo diría que la final de la Champions League de 2005.

Finally….how are you feeling about the new season? Y para acabar, ¿cuáles son tus sensaciones cara a la nueva temporada?

 We were really optimistic after the transfers, and our excitement hasn’t change after the first four games of the season. We hope we can fight all around untll the last rounds, we can win some trophies, especially the league after 30 years.

Nos sentimos muy optimistas tras los fichajes y nuestra ilusión sigue intacta después de los primeros cuatro partidos de la temporada. Esperamos poder luchar por todo hasta el final, podemos ganar algunos trofeos, especialmente la liga después de 30 años.
