Tell us about your OLSC….how did you get started? / Cuéntanos sobre su OLSC … ¿Cómo comenzó todo?

Officially – we are new. We’ve got official status last year, but generally we have been gathering for more than 10 years.

Oficialmente, somos nuevos. Tenemos el estatus oficial desde el año pasado, pero llevamos reuniéndonos regularmente desde hace más de 10 años.

 How many members do you have now, and where do you meet? / ¿Cuántos miembros sois ahora y dónde os reunís?

We have officially registered 110 members but lot of our friends haven’t joined due to lack of time, some other duties etc. Roughly there are more than 500 members who will join us. (Almost) every big town in Serbia has a pub where you can watch LFC games. In Belgrade there are few pubs where people could meet for a game, but basically there are two main joints where we gather.

In coordination with our friends from other OLSC’s from region, we have annual regional meetings in all republics of the former Yugoslavia, plus every country organises their own local gatherings. Local gatherings are planned for spring time and regionals are planned for autumn (September – October). We (OLSC Serbia) are the host for this year’s regional meeting and it will be held here in Belgrade. I predict it will be more than 400 people. For this event, it’s huge. If you are available and willing to come – you are more than welcome. Plan is to gather here, watch the game, have some beers, fun and share the spirit. All this will have a charity background since there will be some lottery and plan is to do as much fundraising for charity as possible. We have not yet set the date, but I guess it will be the second half of October. It will be posted on our official FB page, OLSC Serbia.

If you would like to come – let me know. Food is great, transportation can be found for a decent price, plenty of choice for accommodations…any LFC fan is more than welcome…

Tenemos registrados oficialmente a 110 miembros, pero muchos de nuestros amigos no se han unido debido a la falta de tiempo, algunos tienen otras obligaciones, etc. Aproximadamente hay más de 500 miembros que se unirán a nosotros. (Casi) en cada gran ciudad de Serbia hay un pub donde puedes ver los partidos del LFC. En Belgrado hay pocos bares donde la gente puede reunirse para ver un partido, pero fundamentalmente hay dos sitios sobre todo donde nos reunimos.

 En coordinación con nuestros amigos de otros OLSC de la región, tenemos reuniones regionales anuales en todas las repúblicas de la ex Yugoslavia, además de que cada país organiza sus propias reuniones locales. Las reuniones locales están planificadas para la primavera y las regionales están planificadas para el otoño (septiembre – octubre). Nosotros (OLSC Serbia) somos los anfitriones de la reunión regional de este año y se llevará a cabo aquí en Belgrado. Estimo que vendrán más de 400 personas. Es un gran evento. Si estáis disponibles y dispuestos a venir, sois más que bienvenidos. El plan es reunirnos aquí, ver el partido, tomar unas cervezas, divertirnos y compartir nuestro espíritu. Todo esto tendrá un fondo solidario, ya que habrá lotería y el plan es conseguir la mayor recaudación de fondos posible para fines solidarios. Todavía no hemos fijado la fecha, pero creo que será en la segunda mitad de octubre. Lo publicaremos en nuestra página oficial de FB, OLSC Serbia.

Si alguien quiere venir, avísame. La comida es excelente, el transporte se puede encontrar a un precio decente, hay muchas opciones de alojamiento… cualquier fan de LFC es más que bienvenido …

Apart from watching the Mighty Reds, do you do anything else together? / Además de ver a los Mighty Reds, ¿hacéis algo más juntos?

All our actions have a charitable impact. We are holding and participating in some football tournaments in the same manner; just spreading the spirit of the best club in the world!

Todas nuestras actividades tienen un impacto solidario. Estamos también organizando y participando en algunos torneos de fútbol; ¡Hay que difundir el espíritu del mejor club del mundo!

What has been a highlight for your OLSC? / ¿Qué ha sido lo más destacado hasta ahora en vuestra OLSC?

This year’s visit to Anfield and the match against Stoke, and our presence at the Black Tie dinner where we met the “God” and Sami themselves. We are still a young OLSC and for the first season it is really remarkable. We are proud for what we have done for the kids here over the charity fund and that is very important to us.

La visita de este año a Anfield y el partido contra el Stoke, y nuestra presencia en la cena de Black Tie donde conocimos a “Dios” y a Sami. Todavía somos un joven branch OLSC y para ser nuestra primera temporada, todo esto es realmente notable. Estamos orgullosos de lo que hemos hecho por los niños aquí con el fondo de solidaridad y eso es muy importante para nosotros.

Anything else interesting we should know about your Supporters Club? / ¿Hay algo interesante que debiéramos saber sobre vuestro club de seguidores?

We have strong relationships with our friends in Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, Hungary and others. Finally….how are you feeling about the new season? / Finalmente … ¿Cuál es tu impresión cara a la nueva temporada?

It looks promising. Some silverware for sure. Definitely. In Klopp I have a huuuge faith and my humble opinion is this will be the start of something great.

Tiene buena pinta. Algún trofeo caerá, de verdad. Seguro. Tengo una gran fe puesta en Klopp y, en mi humilde opinión, este es el comienzo de algo muy, muy grande.
