No.

¿No creéis?

A while ago I wrote a eulogy to some old shoes. In addition, before throwing them into the bin, full of holes and without soles, I thanked them. I don’t think it’s silly. Not at all.

Because they didn’t let me walk alone ;), they scored goals and they were with me through sad times, they took bold steps, and by the same token they hesitated, and, let’s look at the good side of changing your mind, they also took a step back when they had to be cautious.

Tonight we will premiere a new television in Triskel, that for us is almost like unveiling a new ground. You don’t think so? Mate, it is!!

And I think that that telly, the old one, also deserves an honourable, dignified farewell, because for ten years (yes, it is the TV that was there when we started), it carried us to happy delirium, to tears (there were), saw us jeopardize its stability when we celebrated and without the merest of complaints, possibly even getting covered in spit with our “Yessss”, and also the poor thing screaming at volume 100 every week.

Thanks Cavern Telly, you’ve shown us everything you had inside. When we turned it on to watch the Reds play, it was like when Howard Carter contemplating the interior of Tutankhamun’s tomb for the first time, to the anxious question of Lord Carnavon  “Can you see anything?”. All he could answer was:  “Yes, wonderful things.”

That said; the King is dead… Long live the 65 inches and 4k King!!
